Standard Terms and Conditions of Services for Cleaning Houses
1. Scope of Services:
Clean Castle agrees to provide professional cleaning services to the client's residential property located within the state of Colorado.
The scope of services includes:
- General Cleaning:
Dusting surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and decorative items.
Wiping down countertops, tables, and other surfaces.
Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces.
Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
Sweeping and mopping hard floors.
- Kitchen Cleaning:
Cleaning and sanitizing countertops, backsplashes, and sink areas.
Wiping down kitchen appliances, such as stovetops, microwaves, and refrigerators (externally).
Cleaning exterior surfaces of kitchen cabinets and drawers.
Washing dishes or loading them into the dishwasher (if agreed upon).
- Bathroom Cleaning:
Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and faucets.
Scrubbing and sanitizing tile and grout surfaces.
Cleaning mirrors, countertops, and vanity areas.
Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
- Bedroom Cleaning:
Making beds (if requested).
Dusting and wiping down surfaces, including bedside tables and dressers.
Vacuuming or sweeping floors.
Changing bed linens (if requested and provided).
- Living Areas and Common Spaces:
Dusting and wiping down surfaces in living rooms, dining rooms, and other common areas.
Vacuuming upholstery and cushions.
Cleaning and tidying up entryways and hallways.
Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
- Additional Services (Upon Request or for an Additional Fee):
Interior window cleaning.
Cleaning interior surfaces of appliances (e.g., oven, refrigerator).
Deep cleaning tasks, such as baseboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Laundry services (washing, drying, folding).
-Customized Services:
Tailoring cleaning services to meet specific client preferences or needs.
Offering one-time deep cleaning services or recurring cleaning schedules (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
2. Service Fees and Payment Terms:
The client agrees to pay Clean Castle the agreed-upon service fees, as outlined in the service agreement or quotation.
Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
The client may cancel or reschedule cleaning appointments by providing 2 days' notice to Clean Castle.
Cancellations made with less than 2 days' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4. Liability and Insurance:
Clean Castle maintains liability insurance coverage to protect against damages or losses incurred during cleaning services.
The client agrees to notify Clean Castle of any damages or losses within 2 days of the cleaning service.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy:
Clean Castle agrees to keep all client information confidential and to respect the privacy of the client's home and personal belongings.
6. Termination of Services:
Either party may terminate cleaning services by providing written notice to the other party with 10 days' notice.
7. Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state of Colorado.
8. Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Colorado.
9. Amendments and Modifications:
Any modifications or amendments to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
10. Entire Agreement:
- This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Clean Castle and the client and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.
